The Membership Committee
The Membership Committee is charged with building membership value in return for dollars spent and volunteerism. The Inland Empire Council values the richness of its member organizations. Spanning from Pasadena, Pomona Valley, San Bernardino, Riverside, Lake Elsinore, and Menifee, our geographic diversity is unique among NPHC councils and valued as a marketing treasure. Our talented membership understands that we have everything to gain by focusing on serving our members.
The Social Initiatives Committee
Many of our member organizations are actively engaged in bettering their communities. Our Council hopes to add value to that effort by supporting at least 3 service projects of our member organizations with at least 2 member organizations volunteering to make the project successful. In addition, we support the Get Out the Vote Campaign, #NPHCUnited4Service, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), National Organization of Black Law Enforcement (NOBLE), St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Prostate Cancer Awareness Program, and All of Us Research.
The Black Greek Weekend Committee
The NPHC IE displays the best of times with its annual Black Greek Weekend. Family, Greeks and friends come together on a SoCal summer weekend to celebrate the accomplishments of the 9 historically Black Greek letter organizations known as The Divine 9. Networking, feasting, gaming, steppin’, strollin’ and dancing to recognize the scholarly achievements of our youth, this 3-day weekend packed with activities is worth attending by all ages. If you’re a Black Greek, wear your ‘nalia, come out and join us. If you’re not, fellowship with us and feel the excitement!
